Salut,
quelqu'un connait-il la définition du mot "mearas"?, qui étant un mot rohirric doit puiser ses origines dans le vieil anglais, I suppose.
Bon si quelqu'un a une proposition a donner, merci d'avance.

On trouve l'explication de ce mot dans les CLI, "Cirion et Eorl", note 6 (p.402): "Marhwini and Marhari contain the Gothic word marh 'horse', corresponding to Old English mearh, plural mearas, the word used in The Lord of the Rings for the horses of Rohan."
traduction: "Marhwini et Marhari contiennent le mot Gothique marh 'cheval', qui correspond au Vieil Anglais mearh, au pluriel mearas, le nom donné dans le SdA aux chevaux du Rohan."
